The teams consisting of members from architecture, landscape architecture, interior design, and other art and design disciplines will collaborate to design a hotel in rural Japan within Shimane prefecture.
It will be a “destination hotel” attracting Japanese and international leisure travelers seeking unique regional experiences; the hotel must provide amenities and services in a conducive environment to enhance their stays and enable staff to deliver exceptional experiential hospitality.
This hotel also serves professional travelers focused on work who are visiting to conduct business in the region.
